Utility pricing data is fractured.

Tens of thousands of utility providers set water, gas, electricity, sewer, and broadband prices across the country, each on its own. As the climate crisis and affordability concerns collide, the lack of consistently comparable pricing data across them makes it hard for policymakers and residents to understand what's happening, let alone respond to it.

We use modern extraction tools to unlock fragmented utility pricing data from across the country and turn it into single, unified datasets that anyone can use.

We started with water (whatwatercosts.org). Gas, electricity, sewer, and broadband are next.
